No. Rosters sync from your SIS or rostering hub automatically. If your district currently maintains an export-and-upload routine for other tools, this replaces it with nothing — that's the feature.
Whichever is your rostering source of truth. Most districts running Clever or ClassLink sync rosters through the hub and let it read from PowerSchool; districts without a hub connect the SIS directly. We'll match whatever your current architecture is — you don't change it for us.
The minimum needed to route and report: student name, school-assigned ID, grade, section enrollment, and staff-to-section assignments. No addresses, no guardian contact data, no discipline records, no grades. The full field list is documented for your privacy review before anything connects.
You do. Access is provisioned through the identity systems your district already manages — deactivate an account in Google, Microsoft, Clever, or ClassLink, and it's deactivated here too. Inside IMPACTER, roles are restricted by section and site, and every access event is logged.
